Surf with Friends collects and uses information to provide accounts, profiles, surf sessions, safety tools, and support.

This content is intended as launch-readiness copy for Surf with Friends and should be reviewed before public launch.

Information We Collect

Account information, such as email address and display name.

Profile information, such as bio, home break, avatar, and surf photos.

Surf sessions, session details, RSVPs, and related activity.

Friends, friend requests, blocks, reports, and safety-related information.

Basic device, app, network, and diagnostic information when needed to operate and troubleshoot the app.

Create and manage your account.

Show profile, photo, session, RSVP, friend, block, and report features.

Support community safety, moderation, and account security.

Respond to support, privacy, legal, account deletion, and safety requests.

Improve reliability and diagnose app or backend issues.

Cloudflare Services

Surf with Friends uses Cloudflare services for the backend. App data is handled through Cloudflare Workers, database records are stored in Cloudflare D1, and uploaded profile/avatar/surf photos are stored in Cloudflare R2.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Some information you add, such as profile details, photos, sessions, RSVPs, and friend activity, may be visible to other users based on app features and your privacy settings.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account in the app from Profile -> Settings -> Delete Account. You can also contact surfwithfriendsapp@gmail.com for help with deletion requests.
