Rules for accounts, content, app use, surf sessions, and ocean-risk decisions.
Eligibility
You must be able to use Surf With Friends under the laws that apply to you. If you use the app, you are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and secure.
Acceptable Use
Do not harass, threaten, bully, impersonate, spam, scam, or abuse other users.
Do not post illegal, hateful, misleading, sexually explicit, violent, or unsafe content.
Do not interfere with the app, attempt unauthorized access, or misuse reports, blocks, sessions, or accounts.
User-Generated Content
You are responsible for the profile details, photos, sessions, invites, RSVPs, notes, comments, reports, and other content you submit. Only share content you have the right to use. We may remove content or limit accounts that violate these terms or harm the community.
Surf and Ocean Risk
Surfing and ocean activities can be dangerous. Conditions can change quickly and may include waves, currents, rocks, reefs, weather, marine life, crowds, and other hazards. Surf With Friends does not provide lifeguard services, ocean safety advice, forecasts, or emergency services.
No Guarantee of Safety or Conditions
Surf With Friends does not guarantee that any surf spot, session, meetup, user, condition, forecast, or route is safe, accurate, available, or suitable for you. You are responsible for your own decisions, skill level, equipment, and safety.
Account Deletion
You may delete your account in the app from Profile -> Settings -> Delete Account. If you cannot access the app or need help, contact surfwithfriendsapp@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account.
Availability
Surf With Friends is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We may update, suspend, change, or discontinue parts of the app, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Account Termination
We may suspend, limit, or remove accounts that violate these terms, community guidelines, safety expectations, or applicable law. You may delete your account in the app or contact surfwithfriendsapp@gmail.com for help.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Surf With Friends and its owners are not responsible for injuries, damages, losses, disputes, or claims related to surfing or ocean activities, meeting other people, user-generated content, incorrect session details, app errors, outages, or decisions made based on information in the app.
